Site Selection and Feasibility Studies

Anatec have been contracted by a variety of clients to assess the feasibility of proposed fixed, floating and tidal/wave developments. This includes input into The Crown Estates offshore wind leasing rounds, ScotWind leasing (Crown Estate Scotland) and international developments.  Our work assesses the suitability of any identified site in relation to shipping and navigation users and presents advice on the consenting risks associated with that site including base case, future case and cumulative environments.

Sites are assessed using a variety of sources including vessel traffic survey data alongside the in-house knowledge and experience of Anatec to ensure all hard and soft constraints are identified; and where possible identify mitigations that can support successful applications.

Outputs of these assessments can be tailored to the format required by the client to ensure that they fit seamlessly into supporting documents required as part of bid processes.
