The North Sea is a mature oil and gas province. It faces competition from several areas around the world, where the cost of resource extraction is much less. SBV optimisation is one potential means for increasing cost efficiencies whilst maintaining/improving the safety of offshore personnel. Anatec using an objective approach to examine the net effect on safety and cost, identify problem areas and put forward recommendations to remedy any shortcomings.
